The Stadium of Light Globe - Sunderland AFC (2021)
Hand drawn cityscape illustration of the home of Sunderland AFC - The Stadium of Light using pen and ink - prints available in a number of sizes.
The Stadium of Light home to Sunderland AFC is the ninth largest football stadium in England and, believe it or not, their eighth since first playing at Blue House Field in Hendon in 1879. The “Black Cats” moved to the Stadium in 1997 when it had a capacity of 42,000. It has since been increased to 49,000 and has a statue of a Davy Lamp outside the ground to represent the region’s coal mining heritage and to provide an explanation for the stadium’s name.
Please note that a frame is not included. All our prints include a mountboard border and a backboard. This is sealed in a protective sleeve and delivered flat, ready to frame. International orders will be sent rolled in a poster tube without a mountboard border.
All our prints are sized to fit standard sized frames. Please feel free to get in touch at info@stavesart.com if you have any questions about the artwork or framing options!
