The Sheffield Globe (2020)
Hand drawn illustration of Sheffield, the Steel City, mapped out in a bold 3D design
Just like Rome, Sheffield is said to have been built on 7 hills. That’s as far as the similarities go! Sheffield is the steel city, forged by Yorkshire sweat and tears in the foothills of the Pennines.
This globe shows Sheffield in a different light, from the famous Grade II listed Park Hill flats to the home of the world snooker championship, the Crucible. Perfect for a birthday, wedding or retirement present for anyone who is snooker loopy or just happens to have a special connection with the City.
The drawing includes many famous Sheffield Landmarks;
- The Peace Gardens
- The Winter Gardens
- The Crucible
- The Town Hall
- St Paul's Tower
- Park Hill
- Sheffield University and Sheffield Hallam University
- Bramall Lane and Hillsborough
